I am new to bell skiver, and need to replace old 3phase clutch motor with a 230V one, as I can't run it at my place... Heard about servomotors, but not sure about power, nor brand... Thanks! - Slider direction/ longest length of thread?En Help! How do I...·January 27, 2021Is there a standard direction for the zip slider on a bag with a side handle? I think I have put it the wrong way around on this one! How long is too long a thread for saddle stitching? I have been practicing a few things on this bag. Rolled edges, piping (I made it by hand skiving a peak down the middle of a longish strip of leather and folding), attaching zips, just using what I have to hand. The handle is too low but it gets a bit too bulky to where I had intended to put it. To get around piping part of this bag in one go it would have taken 4 meters+ of thread. I tend to not go above 2 meters at a time as it seems so much slower to go bigger that an arms span. Is this just me being a newbie? Does it make sense to do it in 1 go?15146
- Interior and Exterior with different thread colorsEn Help! How do I...·May 30, 2021Hello, I've been seeing some products where the interior of the wallet/pouch is stitched with a thread color different from the exterior (see image). How is this done? Do I stitch the interior to the zipper first, and then the whole thing to the exterior? But then won't the holes from the interior stitching get in the way of the exterior stitching? Would love some enlightenment. Thanks in advance!15179

- Bell Skiver overlapping issueEn Beginner's CornerFebruary 13, 2021ok guys! so yes apparently its due to the softness @gx chia i switched to some soft garment type leather during the test because its quite a waste to test on perlinger’s, no problem anymore after switching back to perlinger’s again. but what causes the thing to restore is still a myth to me because it wasnt working in the first place with perlinger’s thus the whole hoohaa.. but the few things to look out is - grinding stone - knife - tension spring, i set to 4-5 counting from the outside to inside22
