Help! Im Prototyping a new pochette out of two 1mm pieces of chevre sully. I think I am going to put some 0.5mm salamander between the layers to give it such rigidity. Do I fully glue down the salamander to the outer leather, or the lining, or just glue the edges together ?

You would glue the exterior fully to the salamander and then the lining would be free, only glued along the seams.
