Hi, I’m going to order some Riri zipper tape. Is it easier, or just as easy, to use a regular pair of pliers to attach the stops on a zipper? Or should I get the pliers made specifically for that purpose? $85 seems like a lot if the other will do as well. Thanks for any help!

There are other less expensive ways to attach zipper stops. The purpose built pliers are nice, but there are some other options. The important things to look for are smooth jaws...prefereably made of brass so they don't mar your stops. And if you can find pliers that have jaws that clamp parallel to one another that helps too!
