Hi everyon, I just wanted to give a shout out to Peter for creating such and amazing set of tutorials. one can literally start his luxury brand with his courses. Here are some result after one year of binge watching Peter‘s vidéos:

I have been following Peter for about a year and his work was an inspiration from the get-go. I remember before he was on his way to his vacation last year he made a few cardholders and instantly sold them. The fact that it seems simple enough to make encouraged me to make my own. Result? disaster. I could not make the exact same thing at the same quality. Fast forward, took this course, and had my second attempt at making his cardholder. Result? WTH? that simple? To understand the structure and sizes and proportions better, I decided to make 10 different cardholders, with various thickness and leather type. So here is my progress, keep in mind they are not finished yet:

It’s one thing to search YouTube for what you want to make and learn there, it’s another to ask a master crafter to explain the process in the correct way to you. one year of searching YouTube for various techniques and found literally everything to be affecting your learning journey in a negative way. Correcting bad habits is more difficult than you think. So I suggest we all list the things we want to learn allowing Peter to organize a roadmap and courses for our learning for the next few years. what do you want to learn or make? what skills are you missing? What projects you want to do and find challengiby?

Hey everyone just wanted to say how excited I am to be here and can't wait to learn more about this amazing craft. I will come see you in person next year Peter but with Covid the online tutorials will have to do for now! Here are a few pieces I have completed recently.

It rarely happens that a master leatherworker is able to properly transfer his/her skills to pupils. And that's why there is a lengthy process of working for an artisan to learn by practice and correction, by constant visual inspection and feedback. However, if teaching material is organized and conveyed properly, it speeds up the process considerably. This is what Peter has achieved here. All one needs to do is to catalogue a large number of techniques, tips and tricks from his courses. Here is my result, going from not knowing what's going on to somewhat enjoying my work. I am nowhere near perfect, but I have surely departed the YouTubers level. Thank you Peter.
