And if you have the opportunity to take a class in person, don't hesitate because you won't regret it. Quality, sharing, humility and benevolence are definitely their trademarks.

I use an atom which they don’t produce anymore. I recommend camoga or fortuna if you want to make an investment. These are great machines and well worth the money. Cheap machines can just be a headache and frustrating because your can’t get the results like with the good machines. You can also find used or vintage machines that can be refurbished. These old machines can be really great! You also have to decide if you want suction or just the off-cuts fall onto the floor or a tray. I have suction and I think it’s a nice luxury to have if you are working a lot on the skiver.

Hi Justin, I have been eyeing the Pro Atelier hollow irons for a while, but have yet to pull the trigger. Would you recommend them? Do they compare favorably to the Sinabroks/other pricking irons you have used?

I generally apply the glue on the entire panel .... it gives me a more compact look and does not let air inside 😉 but be careful to spread gradually and calmly so as not to create creases and bubbles

Hi this’s a wonderful idea. 1. The difference between cheaper leather products and expensive leather products. 2. The difference between cheap hardware and expensive hardware. 3. The difference between lower end and high end leather products. I have found working with the more expensive leather products yields much better results. Also I believe this will help me price accordingly.
