So I’d say it’s more of a semi light product because it’s cocoa butter, beeswax and almond oil but it leaves a bit of a film for a while until the leather fully absorbs the balm. When the leather absorb the product it doesn’t file like a build up or film at all! To describe the consistency the best just think of regular butter 😂 Application is really easy as well, just apply with your fingers and afterwards you just gotta take of the excess with a cloth. Hi Luca Can you tell more about it like is it a heavy or light product, waxy or smudgy at all? I’m generally not a big fan of most leather care products because they often leave a film or build-up on the surface. P

You would glue the exterior fully to the salamander and then the lining would be free, only glued along the seams. p

well, your local leather retailer might offer splitting services or someone in your area might too. I had some luck with a local boot manufacturer before. But I would say the ability to split and skive leather is pretty essential for making more advanced items like lined pockets and so on.

Thanks for the pic. The leather doesn't look that bad. In general items in their original condition are the most valuable. the moment you start replacing parts the value drops even if the "condition" is better.
