Hi Peter, Instead of creating a new post, I thought it would be best to add my question here as it pertains to the same topic. Should the feed roller and bell knife always run at the same speed or would we want to be able to adjust the speed at which the feed roller rotates while having the bell knife constantly running at full speed? I hope this makes sense.

Hi Nats, Unfortunately some things just don't work. If you are doing a retourne construction like this then its impossible to flip it without severely damaging and wrinkling the bonded leather which in turn wrinkles the leather itself. I would suggest sellier construction if you want a stiff form. p

Nice Job on the Pink Burgundy one! I go crazy for tight grains on Chevre! I am guessing its not Sully because I rarely see such tight grain on Sully, unless its really close to the butt. Correct me if I am wrong!

I like KS blade however they are very sharp and maybe more difficult to handle for beginners. Amy Roke is another favorite. They have a nice shape and the teeth aren't too sharp so you can use them to mark without cutting into the leather. KS blade you can't use to mark, they are too sharp.
