Hi Peter, would it be possible please, at the end of your tutorials (or somewhere ) to list tools used and suppliers e.g electric creaser , thread supplier - thickness etc ? Thank you. Loving them so far - so helpful - thank you !

Hello to Peter and all leathercrafters in this great, helpful and skilled society.
I've watched many available materials and interviews with Peter, considering buying tutorials also but need to buy few tools before.
Anyway I couldn' find an answers on questions about running own bussiness. When do you Peter (or other members who did) decided to register your trademark? Was it registered in your country only at the beginning or EU or global maybe? What is a good moment for this? Should I do it before I start offer my products on web (for example Etsy). I designed own logo but paying 1000 EUR for registering is too much at this moment. I am also not able to get any dotations from SME fund. What push you to made a decision to register trademark?
And from something completely different - do you have any experience in dying leather? Can you recommend any dyes, finishes and methods? I dye leather by myself but not always I'm happy of the result. Can't get full waterproof and sometimes rain do marks on my veg tan products although I use most popular finishes like resolene, mink oil. Sometimes also belts or other flexible parts look good at the beginning but after short time I observe many wrinkles appearing. Any ideas of what I do wrong? I use techniques and most common chemicals shown by other leathercrafters on YT. Maybe you can suggest tannery offering leather easy to dye? I think once I used il ponte leather and it was slightly better to dye, with some oils, shiny surface.
I will appreciate any answers.
Regards Peter and all forum members,
Mark
Hi - and congrats on very nice looking tutorial videos. As clean as your work I dare say ;-) I have been doing leatherwork as a hobby for a couple of years and as an old graphic designer (started before the "computer age") the detailed hand work suits me :-)
Q: Creasing VS beveling? Is it only a matter of expressions that make you chose either? Is it if you create an edge without edge paint that bevel and burnish will do best? Bevel and burnish - is it just a simpler (cowboy ;-) technique to creasing?
Hi Cathy. Yes! this is coming. I will prepare entire lists of suppliers etc.
Glad you are loving the tutorials :-)
