I tried machine sewing (on my durkopp adler 669) with Meisi Superfine in M50 and M40 today. This thread is suitable for both hand sewing and machine sewing, but I found it very difficult/near impossible to find the right tension and the thread snaps easily. Backstitching also breaks the thread. Any tips?

Hi Talitha,
Yes, I have used it in my adler 669 successfully, however, it is very difficult to get the tension perfectly adjusted and it can snap easily, especially the black. I was using M30 size. I didn't do the backstitching with the machine. I stopped it and finished that by hand(I was using the machine for the straps on the micro dream bags. )
I hardly ever use the machine so its always a bit tricky for me finding the correct tension settings. I think the Meisi poly thread might be easier to use on the machine.
