I have this roller foot that does not fit my 801 bell skiver. There's not enough clearance. Can someone tell me which model/brand it will fit, or if there is some modification I can make to my machine, though I don't see how this would be possible, as there is an issue with physical clearance?

That roller foot is intended for a machine that has an additional attachment on the back of the machine to spin it.
Here's how it hooks up, and what the machine looks like:
My model is a Japanese Nippy NP1. When the machine is feeding, the back part spins along with it. This means that the roller foot is fed by a different gear than the cutting bell. When purchasing the machine though, it hooks up the two sections so that the foot pedal controls both speed and feed.
I had to add a second motor to it since by default, you can't control the feed speeds.
Edit: Looking at pictures online of other NP1 models, it seems like some include the back feed and others don't. I'm not sure what the difference is. I bought mine very used and rebuilt it entirely.
There's the clearance, but the point of that specific foot is for leathers where the top is delicate or flimsy and wants feed support on both the top and bottom. I don't think it would be a very useful foot if it didn't have the motor connection.
Thanks, Daniel, for the wonderful explanation. I'll have to put this foot up for sale. Is there enough clearance on a Nippy NP1 to use it without a motor and spindle?
