Hi Morgan, I am using the Mac 993 and really love it. I have never tried the Dream factor one which doubles as a cutting press but i have heard that if you really want to do serious cutting this isn't the tool. Apparently it works well for embossing but as said i haven't tested it myself. For embossing dies I use Industrial Design Concept. You can find them on IG under the same name. I have also used hexNHit. best p

I bought my rolls years ago and can’t really remember what brand. Soon I am going to have to source some new ones then I’ll start comparing different brands.

Hi Peter and Justin, thank you both for replying! Very helpful to read both of your experiences. I have bought the medium size for my smaller items for now (currently practicing the card wallet and next the zipper pouch) and after that I might order the large clamp for bigger items

The dark spots are tough with overhead lights.

So I’ve recently got some samples through from Freudenberg. Including the Vildona. One of the samples is for the backside material for exotic leather. Is this to be used on exotics and then still reinforced with Vildona? Or is it one or the other?
