They make a mold-I am not sure if this is 3D printed. There is a mold making fee for each prototype variation if it is significantly different . Minor changes to the mold can usually be made however. .

Filing the presser feet in this manner shows improved performance with panel skiving. I thought the grind would throw off measurement accuracy for edge beveling, but this does not seem to be the case. If I measure a margin of 10mm, I still get 10mm. Edit: After a bit more use of this modified presser foot, I do need to add about 3mm/4mm to my edge bevel to allow for the metal that I removed.

@Shannon Monique Perkins I buy Nitto tape from Chinese sources. It's Teflon tape and works well enough, though I can't say for sure it's the authentic Japanese Nitto tape. You want to get the grey 0.18mm x 19mm tape.

@chaesu Lim Actually that is just heavy card paper. I have a ton of it from years ago and it's just very practical I also get my bonded leather from salamander :-)

@atelierpeternitz wow, I've been always wondering what you've placed under the leather when you were stitching or creasing. Now I got what it is! Bonded leather, thank you so much Peter! Now I have the bonded leather from Salamander, the grey one with 0.6mm thick. Mind if I ask where do you get your bonded leather?
