reading your post I saw some problems encountered in the past ... what I can advise you is to glue in steps ..... if you have to glue the lining to a flap with the curve, start from the flat part, and put a sheet in between between the two parts to be glued in correspondence of the curve ... first glue a part with the help of your hands ..... proceed by step .... the sheet will help you so that everything will not be glued immediately making bubbles 😉

@Eero Arte @atelierpeternitz yes a 50mm feet! works fine now.. one thing tho, the last part to skive always tear by the knife like those in the attached image.. any idea what causes it?

I have no experience with leather zipper wallets like this, and I’m really no expert! But it seems like at 4:11 they only stitch the ends of the zipper so not all around yet, and then at the end the thread/stitches that’s on the dark blue exterior looks like the same beige thread on the interior. So that seems to be the final stitch to assemble everything together

The second dark and square plate looks like a machinists' granite surface plate. They come in 2" and 3" thickness and a variety of sizes. I believe machinists use them to calibrate tools because the granite is exceptionally level. If you're in the US, you can get them for a reasonable price at the global behemoth based in Seattle.

Hi Talitha, Yes, I have used it in my adler 669 successfully, however, it is very difficult to get the tension perfectly adjusted and it can snap easily, especially the black. I was using M30 size. I didn't do the backstitching with the machine. I stopped it and finished that by hand(I was using the machine for the straps on the micro dream bags. ) I hardly ever use the machine so its always a bit tricky for me finding the correct tension settings. I think the Meisi poly thread might be easier to use on the machine.
